The Perfect Layer

I have been wearing my turtlenecks as a base layer for most of my outfits ever since the weather turned. I love how they provide some extra warmth while still being breathable and not adding extra bulk. I am saving up to buy more colours :)
I bought a medium and a large so I had one that was skin-tight and one that was more relaxed. I think this was a great choice and when I buy more I will do the same thing.

Absolutely perfect

This was my first merino top ever. I bought it first of all because I'm a tall girl and sought everywhere for a turtleneck with long enough sleeves, and second of all I wanted a "city-appropriate" piece that easily transfers to a warm camping layering piece. I'm a minimalist so I need my clothes to serve multiple purposes. I received the turtleneck and the fit was incredible; absolutely flawless, what can I say. First I thought that because it's a bit sheer it will only look good but doesn't necessarily keep you warm. BOY WAS I WRONG! I'm always cold but this kept me so comfortable the whole day; from a packed commuter bus to a day at the office, November breeze, and even a sweaty stair hike. At the end of the day there was no smell even in the armpits (yup, I sniffed), it kept its shape and any moistness I created during my hike got quickly ventilated away. I'm in love, and already about to place an order for my next piece. I don't think I can thank you enough!

I’m 5’8” and LOVE the long arms. I rarely find a fitted long sleeve where the sleeves hit my hands. So cozy and I can flip them up when I want a normal length. One star because it’s a bit more shear than I would like.

Runs long to torso and sleeves

Sleeves are significantly too long so bunch up at the wrist. Torso length is also significantly below my hips (covers my bum) I’m 5.4ft.
The eggplant colour is more purple than shown on website photo.
I’m typically a size 4/6 or small/medium. But for Simply Merino I’ve found size small on the bigger side. Im going to return the small and try an XS.

Note: Merino wool is naturally odor & stain resistant, no need to frequently wash.

Machine wash on delicate cycle with warm/cool water.

Mild soap. Do not use bleach.

Wool wash is recommended, Eucalan

Hang dry, best to lay flat to help retain shape.

The fit is very similar to our Women's Top, snug, & long. We made the neck a little higher, and more fitted around the neck.
