Comfort Meets Sustainability

Merino wool is a renewable resource, making it one of the most sustainable fabrics available. With access to grass and water, their fleece naturally regenerates each year, providing a continuous and sustainable source.

Feel good about dressing your family in Simply Merino

Temperature Regulating

Merino wool naturally insulates in the cold by trapping air and keeps you cool in the heat by absorbing and releasing moisture.

Incredibly Soft

Merino wool is soft because its ultra-fine fibers—typically 18–24 microns—are smoother and gentler against the skin than regular wool.

Machine Washable

Merino wool’s naturally crimped fibers and smooth surface help it retain shape and resist shrinking, especially when washed gently with cool water and a wool-safe detergent.

Wicks Away Moisture

Merino wool keeps you dry by wicking moisture away from your skin and absorbing it into the fibers without feeling wet.

Hypoallergenic

Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and resists bacteria and dust mites, helping reduce allergen buildup.

Naturally Fire Resistant

Merino wool is naturally fire-resistant, thanks to its keratin-rich fibers and moisture content, which cause it to smolder rather than ignite.

Durable

Merino wool is durable because its fine, strong fibers are naturally elastic, allowing them to bend without breaking.

Biodegradable

Merino wool is fully biodegradable—cut it into small pieces and compost in soil, where it naturally breaks down within 12 months and enriches the earth.

Perfect!

I wear these to bed and they are absolutely perfect. Super comfortable, not restrictive and they keep me the perfect temperature.

Almost perfect shorts

Would have I love a few inches longer (I am 5’10). But overall love the colours and the breath ability.

Now a mainstay in my wardrobe

I've been wearing more dresses this summer and I wear these bike shorts almost every day. Nice high waist, thin enough to be comfortable even on hot days. Will definitely be buying more!

Amazing but wish they had side pockets. Way better fit than wool& Frankie shorts

So Comfortable

I have had my shorts for a month. I ride long distances and find a chamois uncomfortable. I wear the Bike Shorts under my riding shorts and they are very comfort, no seams that irritate, good elastic cling with a high waist that doesn’t cut off your breath when you are bent over riding. No chafing with this wool, and no irritation from moisture. Great product, worth the money

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my wool?

If you are not wearing your wool regularly, we recommend storing it in a cedar chest or in a sealed Ziploc bag.

How should I wash my wool?

Always wash your wool on a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Never use bleach.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page contains a Size Chart to help you select the correct size based on body measurements. If you need any additional sizing information, please reach out to our customer service team. We know that online shopping can sometimes be frustrating, and we are always here to help!

Do moths really eat wool?

Moth and other bugs do like to nibble on most natural fibers, wool included. If you suspect you have moths, we recommend washing your wool, air dry, then freeze to kill any eggs that may be present. Storing your wool properly will prevent damage from bugs.
