Comfort Meets Sustainability

Merino wool is a renewable resource, making it one of the most sustainable fabrics available. With access to grass and water, their fleece naturally regenerates each year, providing a continuous and sustainable source.

Feel good about dressing your family in Simply Merino

Temperature Regulating

Merino wool naturally insulates in the cold by trapping air and keeps you cool in the heat by absorbing and releasing moisture.

Incredibly Soft

Merino wool is soft because its ultra-fine fibers—typically 18–24 microns—are smoother and gentler against the skin than regular wool.

Machine Washable

Merino wool’s naturally crimped fibers and smooth surface help it retain shape and resist shrinking, especially when washed gently with cool water and a wool-safe detergent.

Wicks Away Moisture

Merino wool keeps you dry by wicking moisture away from your skin and absorbing it into the fibers without feeling wet.

Hypoallergenic

Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and resists bacteria and dust mites, helping reduce allergen buildup.

Naturally Fire Resistant

Merino wool is naturally fire-resistant, thanks to its keratin-rich fibers and moisture content, which cause it to smolder rather than ignite.

Durable

Merino wool is durable because its fine, strong fibers are naturally elastic, allowing them to bend without breaking.

Biodegradable

Merino wool is fully biodegradable—cut it into small pieces and compost in soil, where it naturally breaks down within 12 months and enriches the earth.

Wool is a great material, but these were a bit thin!

I loved these wool pajamas for kiddo. On cold nights in northern CA (65-70degF at night) i have to put the wool pj's on under a cotton pj set, then a 3.5 sleep sack on top of that for the night. The wool pjs plus a cotton pj over takes the place of the fleece onesie we were using before. Ideally, i would have liked to have just the wool pjs for cold nights. Other than that, wool is a great material, so the pj's are great at smells, handling sweating, and being soft!

Our favourite

Got these pyjamas to use as a base layer with my 2 year old son since he likes to play and nap outside in his stroller even in the wintertime. The quality is amazing, they are soft, thin for layering, and very warm. Exactly what we were looking for. The sizing is right on as well, and I can see us using them for a good long while. If you’re on the fence get a pair and try it out!

So great but gets holes easily

I adore these for my kids but unfortunately the knees are subject to getting holes much faster than i expected (within a year). I wish the knees could be reinforced but other than that these are a dream.

Excellent quality

Bought these for my 3-year old daughter. They are soft, cozy, and well made. She attends an outdoor preschool and often wears them as a base layer keeping her warm for 8 hours outside!

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my wool?

If you are not wearing your wool regularly, we recommend storing it in a cedar chest or in a sealed Ziploc bag.

How should I wash my wool?

Always wash your wool on a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Never use bleach.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page contains a Size Chart to help you select the correct size based on body measurements. If you need any additional sizing information, please reach out to our customer service team. We know that online shopping can sometimes be frustrating, and we are always here to help!

Do moths really eat wool?

Moth and other bugs do like to nibble on most natural fibers, wool included. If you suspect you have moths, we recommend washing your wool, air dry, then freeze to kill any eggs that may be present. Storing your wool properly will prevent damage from bugs.

When will an out-of-stock item be available?

Our Fall/Winter collection gets fully restocked in September, while our Spring/Summer collection restocks in April. Small restocks are done throughout the year.
