Pocket Leggings

$115.00

Changes have been made to original pattern. Pockets are 3" higher on the legs, & ankles are less snug.

High waisted, opaque, french-terry leggings with deep side-leg pockets. These leggings are the same pattern as our Thermal Leggings but thicker and with pockets. Super soft and warm — perfect for layering or wearing on their own.

FIT - Not as stretchy as our Thermal Leggings. If you are in-between sizes, we suggest sizing up. Take measurements for hips and thighs rather than waist. No troublesome elastic waistband is required as fit is cozy and snug. Leg length is long for tall ladies, and tight at the ankles for those who need to scrunch or fold up the hem.

MATERIAL - 94 % Australian Merino wool. 6% Elastane.

Please refer to our fitting guide for measurements.

Pocket Leggings!

So amazing and comfortable. Love the feel and weight. This wool is so soft. Pockets are great.

I will mention one thing - I ordered purple and black and the black are much tighter around the waist - less give. They are okay once up but a quite snug getting up around the hips. The purple are easier to slide up.

Best leggings ever!

Being tall (5’9”) and leggy (34” inseam) these leggings are perfect length and shape for me. I love the comfort and coverage of the waistband

Everyday comfort and warmth

I wear these almost everyday (have to wash every once in a while) and I will be getting more pairs. They are more rugged looking with the visible stitching, so casual wear for me. I wear these as a thermal layer, or on their own. I am so comfortable in 60 degrees F down to negative temperatures that we get in Wisconsin. I also just wore them on trip to Florida in the 70 degree F and they were comfortable, not too hot. They just feel nice, not breezy or chilly like other non-wool leggings. I am 5'5", 150lbs as a US size 29-30 jean, and I wear a medium. The waist is snug while pulling over my hips, but once they're up they fit well as a high waist. I have a large size thermal pant from Simply Merino and could use a medium in those as well. I now can't imagine buying any other brand of legging for daily wear.

Best merino wool leggings with a few cons

The feel, cut, and sizing of these leggings is great. Super soft (not scratchy at all), high-waisted and length are perfect (I'm 5'7"), and sizing chart was spot on (I ordered two sizes because I'm usually a large in other bottoms, but went with a medium with these because they fit better and that's what the size chart said I was).
Now the cons. They are not squat-proof. So when bending over, you can see your undies. Not a huge deal, I wasn't really going to be working out in these! But, that means they're a bit on the thinner side. I found that if we're under 35F/1.5C, I can't wear them on their own, they just aren't thick enough. When you hold up one layer to the light, you can see through them.
Another con, the stitching is a bit twisted on one of the legs, so the side seam always goes to the front of my shin, which is annoying, but doesn't affect its functionality, so it wasn't a reason to return. But it does annoy me.
All in all, these are the best merino wool leggings I tried (I also tried Unbound, didn't bother with Woolx because they didn't seem high-waisted enough). I'd love to see some thicker leggings in the future!
